Hot Cross Buns

My daughter broke out her recorder the other day and played "Hot Cross Buns" for about a half an hour (blerg!). This prompted the kids to ask about hot cross buns. They wanted to eat them. I decided to oblige. I did a google search and quickly found out hot cross buns are hard. By hard I mean, they require yeast. Mommy doesn't do yeast. I am scared of yeast. What's Cooking Good Looking

I have been using a menu board for about a year. I play it by ear and figure it out week by week. Try, try again...

Hello~
I am attempting to blog... I know, I know. I have said this before, and even did for a millisecond. Life got in the way. I was attempting to juggle mommyhood, full time employment and full time studies. Studies has now taken a back seat. It breaks my heart, but it wasn't meant to be. I was too stressed, too grouchy, and that was not fair to (mostly my hubbers) my family. I am beginning this journey (again) as an outlet for my creative yearnings. The goal is to be honest about triumphs and disasters in homemaking and family raising. I still  work full time, so blogs may not be daily, but the goal is 4 times a week. I will post recipes, craft projects, family anecdotes, weight loss goals (and achievements!) and anything that strikes my fancy. So welcome to my world!!!

xoxo
