Pants Redo

I was in a bit of a fashion slump recently. I had some pants that I never wore in my closet. Flares. Honestly, I cannot pull off flare. WAY too hippy this chicka is. I got a brain storm going and realized I could edit my pants to more of a skinny style. I enlisted my hub's grandma, love that lady, and she helped me give my pants a new life.

First we pinned them (I was sans camera during this portion). We did this while I was wearing the pants inside out. We then stitched them with her handy dandy sewing machine.

Flipped them right side out and made sure they were even before we committed to removing the excess fabric.

Soooooo much better!! I am very pleased with the way they turned out. I think I will try clothes editing more often. Might make Goodwill shopping more fun on my non exsistent clothing budget. My photographer was my daughter.
