I made these for the fam a couple weeks ago. They were a HUGE hit. I wanted Rice Crispie Treats, but I also wanted Peanut Butter. This is what I came up with. There may be a better recipe out there, but I did this on the fly and with what I had on hand...
Ingredients:
5 cups Rice Crispies
1 bag marshmallows (I used the big ones)
.5 cup butter
1/3 cup peanut butter*
.5 bag chocolate chips*
Instructions:
Melt butter and Peanut Butter in non stick pan or pot. Add mallows. Stir constantly while melting mallows. Place Crispies and chips into a bowl and add melted mixture. Stir quickly. Press into a pan and cool completely. Eat.
* Could have used a touch more peanut butter, but that was all I could scrape out of the jar. Chips are an approximation. I had a partial bag in the pantry.
