6 lbs down!!! I weighed in at 150 this morning. I tried very hard last week, but had a few hiccups. Needless to say, I was shocked this morning, and very excited.
My week breakdown looks like this:
Monday- I ate 1300 calories- worked out to fitness videos via spark people for half an hour.
Tuesday- I ate 1200 calories- ran (jog/walked uncomfortably) 1.5 miles- man I am out of shape.
Wednesday- I only ate 1100 calories- and jogged one mile- still desperately out of shape.
Thursday- I had 1300 calories- and had no physical activity- just sore butt cheeks and thighs.
Friday- I failed in epic proportions. I only ate 351 calories. This was a combination of things- I ate a healthy choice frozen entree almost everyday for lunch this past week. Most were very good. Friday was not. Friday's was nasty. Jamaican Chicken. Ew. I only had a couple bites and then consumed an entire cucumber. Then I ran 2 miles with my bestie. She has this awesome stroller that allowed us to listen to 80's cardio station on Pandora while we worked out. She really pushes me. I almost puked, and then felt really queasy and shaky the rest of the night. I ate an apple and a couple crackers and called it a night. Not my best work.
Saturday- I had 1300 calories- I hard core cleaned my house. I counted that for my exercise because I was too tired for an actual fitness activity.
Sunday- I am going to be honest. I PIGGED out on Sunday. My mom had my kiddos for the afternoon, so the hubs and I used a gift card to the Olive Garden. I tried to be good. I ate salad and soup... and bread sticks (2 of them) and wonderfully yummy smoked mozzarella fonduta with bread slices for dipping. Okay, so I left that table consuming roughly 800 calories. YIKES!! We then had a function at our church that was followed by ice cream sundaes. I had one of my own, and then for good measure finished my son's. OH and all of this is after waking up late for praise team practice and stopping at McDonald's for breakfast. All of this brought my grand total of calories to 1850 for the day. And I did zero physical activity unless you count singing and doing hand signals to "Romans 16:19" while my daughter drummed, exercise.
Overall I think I did pretty well the first week out. I am realistic and know I will not have results like this every week. I would reach my goal weight in a month (wouldn't that be the best!?) I am hoping to only lose two pounds a week from here on out. That is a healthy pace.
Thanks for sharing in my journey.
Megan
