I was Pinspired recently by an idea of freezing cookie balls to give to others as Christmas gifts. I tried it, for us. It is a little early to freeze cookie ball Christmas gifts. They worked wonderfully. I used the recipe on the back of the dark chocolate chip bag. Nothing special. The tray looks like this.

| Bake at 375 for 10-13 minutes from frozen state, 8-10 from thawed. |
Of course, I had to bake some right away in order to enjoy the fruits of my scoop. I only had one because, honestly, I did a craptastic job dieting this week. I will fess up to all my slips and follies tomorrow after I face the scale. The cookies were wonderful, and baked so much better than they normally would have. They look so pretty.
